  • Kids inherently love nature and wildlife, and we want to encourage their affinity for animals with Numsi’s vibrant and contemporary Animal Wall Art! We’ve teamed up with Numsi to give away a beautiful, unique framed piece of Animal Wall Art worth $118! This 12 inch by 12 inch artwork highlights a photograph of an animal set in an imaginary world. Dubbed “peculiar, wonderful and arresting,” Numsi decor is a sophisticated focal point and conversation piece with a modern aesthetic that will befit a child’s room from cradle to college, and beyond!

All Numsi wall art panels are designed, created, assembled and packaged in Numsi founder and artist Helen Jerlach’s studio in Twin Cities, Minnesota. Each piece of art starts with a photograph, taken by Helen somewhere around the Twin Cities region, which she then draws digitally. Images are printed onto the highest quality canvas with archival quality pigment inks, which have been tested to last for over 75 years. The canvas is mounted to a museum quality art panel with a 2” deep birch plywood cradle. Numsi art arrives ready to hang on your wall or be displayed on a shelf. All pieces are created with mindfulness toward a responsible use of resources and an outlook of sustainability, and Numsi is a proud member of 1% for the Planet.

The winner of the Numsi animal wall art gets to choose the animal print and color scheme that will best suit their taste and decor! Choices include: giraffes, a Takin, Dall’s sheep, sea lion, piglets, penguins, ostrich, Kudu, Snow Monkey, flamingos, tufted deer and buffalo! Enter to win after the jump!

At first I was just going to pick the giraffe set, my kiddo and I sort of have a thing for them. But the buffalo set is so pretty!!! Something about it captures the magic of the outdoors.

I was just going to pick the giraffe like always (my sweet little kiddo and I have a thing for them!).
Then I saw the buffalo set which is just magical and somwhow captures that nice crisp outdoor feeling!!!

My family and I have always love aquatic mammals as we do not see them where we live-there is something mystical. I originally was torn between the seal and the penguins but then I say the bison. I find something magical about such a large unpredictable animal in a beautiful, calm background. Love it!

My little guy has a total obsession for giraffes, so I would definitely have to go with them! It all started with his Sophie the giraffe teether and took off from there. :)

The penguins are my favorite. My son loves penguins and it is the symbol for my computer operating system of choice (linux).

The Snow Monkey would definitely have to be my favorite… I call my niece my little monkey and the flowers in the background are dainty and Asian, just like her!

Penguins! My 21 month old daughter and 36 year old husband walking like penguins around the house is a sight to behold. My husband grew up loving penguins and my daughter has followed suit. The print is also really stand-out with the penguins off in the corner ready to waddle.

The giraffes! What beautiful majestic creatures! My daughter would love them:)

The orange giraffe would be a perfect starting point to transition my son’s nursery from “baby” to “big boy”. We currently have owls in there but he has a giraffe stuffed animal that has been his favorite since he was just months old. We love Danish modern design and our home reflects that– how perfect would that artwork be in a modern kid’s bedroom!

I enjoy the bison. They are big, powerful, beautiful creatures. I had one look me right in the eye at Yellowstone park while it walked by our car (it was the size of our car too), what a great experience that I hope to share with my son someday! He would love these on his wall!

  21. Valarie says:
    March 11, 2010 at 2:13 pm

I’d have to go with the Snow Monkey because it suits my little man, or the Takin because it’s a new animal he doesn’t know about just yet. Either would be perfect — and my 19 month old could practice sharing and contribute them to his brother or sister’s room (coming in Sept)!

  22. Beth Shea says:

I’m not eligible to win, but my daughter and I would pick the pink flamingos! She LOVES flamingos and carries her stuffed flamingo toy around by the neck all over town… and she hops on one leg, trying to BE a “flingo.”

  26. libbylaine says:

Well, the answer on behalf of my 2-year old litte boy is “sea lions”. His various animal loves (giraffes, monkeys, owls) have evolved over the last two years, but the sea lions stuck. The beauty of their flippers, the honking bark, and their tremendous 5-10 minute show at our local Denver Zoo have him completely entranced. He would totally dig a sea lion piece of art on his walls.

  27. Michelle says:
    March 11, 2010 at 4:06 pm

These are hilarious! I can’t get over these huge real-life animals composed into modern graphic patterns. It’s so different to the cartoonish characters that most often accent in children’s rooms. This gives a lifelike but whimsical take on child decor. This is why my favorite is the seal. The graphics look like seaweed. I think it would brighten my day every time I saw it!

  28. ameliasuchy says:
    March 11, 2010 at 5:13 pm

How to choose? I would have to say the seal. I love the illusion or interpretation of water/land that the seal is resting on. :)

Oh! It’s so hard to choose. I would be tempted to use this in the bedroom for our expected second child, but I would give thsi as a gift to friends who found out they were pregnant just after she lost her job – they’re having a girl. The pink pigs are delightful for a little girls room! I love the brightness of the snow monkey. And I LOVE that I can “recognize” the animals as taken at the MN zoo!!!
