Hands down, my wife’s hand-made embellished pre-fold cloth diapers. It introduces new parents to cloth diapers in a non-threatening way (if they don’t go the cloth route, it doubles as burp cloth)

Oh hello! I’d LOVE to win this giftset. That hat is so stinking awesome I can hardly believe my eyes. My baby girl would look so rad in it–I hope we win! Our go-to eco-friendly gifts are varied, depending on the person and baby. Sometimes we like to make burb-clothes out of eco-friendly fabrics, or hooded towels made from organic cotton, or natural lotions and body products for mom and baby, or feeding utencils made from recycled plastics or other materials (even better!). There are so many great ways to give green gifts–I love it!

My go-to eco-baby shower gift for friends and family is washable organic baby wipes.
And we usually wrap them in a home made blanket.
We use clothe diapers for our son, but most of our friends are a bit reluctant to cloth diapers.
Washable baby wipes are super easy to use, even if you don’t want to go to the whole deal of cloth diapering.
Every time we give washable baby wipes as a baby shower gift our friends are at first surprised, but then they all like them very much. We even have a couple of friend that decided to switch to clothe diapering after using our wipes :)
