My little one is an infant right now but I will teach him that it’s NEVER OK to litter and that he should recycle whenever he can. We recycle plastic grocery bags (can’t avoid ‘em) by using them in his diaper pail.
Hi, I just finished getting 3 different estimates for floor refinishing, it’s amazing how little regular trades people now about alternatives for eco-home improvement projects. I will be buying the materials and printing out the information for them to understand what I’m talking about. We are also becoming greener with our daily diet and product purchasing habits. Hopefully it will become more commonplace for everyone to do their part. I love that I have found inhabitat as a resource in this new path for better living. My children, family, friends, my students (I’m a teacher) and their families all benefit from the information I have found here. Thank you: )
I really wanna go!! And I think my tot would love the entertainment that citibabes has schedules! Plus I’d love to meet Jill and Jasmin (i’m so bummed that i missed the nyc launch at green depot!)! Would love to go to the show to see how I can green my nursery for the next baby!!
I would love to go!
i love to hear of new ways to keep all of our children health and this ever growing un healthy world
I can’t wait for it, I really want to go! I am fascinated by design and product design, and the combination of eco & baby friendly sounds intriguing…
It’s not easy being green – but it’s getting easier – and prettier!!!
Im working on a business plan to develop Green pre- schools not for profit and would love to see what other great products I can incorporate into my plan as well as ideas, We have kids that constantly get sick in daycares and preschools, like myself I have 2 boys a 6 year old and a 9 month old.with both parent working we had no choice but to put him in daycare. I would like to create an enviroment that can minimize germs and better ventilation as well as hypoallergenic products.
As you soon to be first time eco-daddy..I would love to attend the show and see what eco and cool things are out there for my baby. I have been researching and i love inhabitots…cant wait to buy and finish setting up my little girls future room. It’ll be a great opportunity to see everything and be informed..im so excited about all the changes coming up.
I am a single Mom and Environmental Geologist. I have so many issues trying to be a good parent. Mine were not so great role models and both committed suicide. I would be so grateful for all opportunities to improve my parenting.
I take my 2 and1/2 year old outdoors every evening to talk about the environment. The moon, stars, grass, homes, and of course…Bugs! Bugs are pretty fascinating social creatures.
Also bummed about missing the Green Depot party. Would love to know more about Eco-parenting ideas.
Sounds fun, would love to hear more!
can’t wait to hear who won!! will you post winners here?
Really cute babies. But you should keep them away from the internet
