Rachel Holding created a stark and graphic image for Veterans Day. For her medium she looked no further than a kid’s toy box, melting iconic plastic soldiers into a green ring that unmistakably communicates the sentiment of remembrance. Today we offer our deepest respect and gratitude to the servicemen and women who sacrifice to serve, protect and preserve the United States of America, and we solemnly remember and honor all of the men and women in the armed forces who have fallen in the line of duty.
