The Honest Company’s Recyclable Baby Bottle Is Non-Toxic, Affordable & Designed To Mimic Breastfeedingby Marni Fogelson-Teel, 10/22/12
The Honest Company has certainly caught the attention of the green media world, and not just because hot eco-mama Jessica Alba is one of the co-founders. Their products are well-designed, stylish, and of course, have green cred to boot. Their latest offering is an affordably priced baby bottle, made from 100% medical-grade polypropylene and free of BPA, PVC, phthalates and those other nasties that we work so hard at keeping away from our babies’ mouths. The recyclable bottles come with two medical grade silicone nipples to accommodate babes as they grow, and the nipples boast a special design that mimics breastfeeding (which makes going back and forth between breast and bottle feeding much easier). Add on a travel top for reducing spills and a patented, one-piece venting system that eliminates extra parts and simultaneously reduces gas, colic, and spit-up and what we’ve got is a no-brainer for a baby bottle that supports both parents and baby as best as possible.
