‘Stack-Chick’ – Colorful, Stacking, Nesting Toy by Sharon Myoung

As cute, chirpy and succinct as its name, the ‘Stack-Chick [3],’ a prototype designed by Sharon Myoung [4], a recent graduate of the Pratt Institute [5], is a stacking toy with a hidden surprise. Four donut shapes stack in a color coordinated fashion to create a squinty, little chick. As each ring is removed, a nestled egg inside the donuts is revealed. The egg is meant to encourage childrens’ curiosity about the process of nature, while teaching them which animals lay eggs. Once this darling toy finds a manufacturer, we’d suggest making it out of non-toxic EVA foam.
