The brand new Plan Toys Green Dollhouse is drool worthy to the extreme. Like any smart green home, this dollhouse incorporates renewable energy design features such as passive solar via solar panels on the roof, and a wind turbine. An eco-friendly green plant biofacade is included to keep dollhouse temperatures perfect year round, along with a useful shade canopy that your child can pull down in order to prevent or allow sunlight and wind to flow through the house. There’s a sweet rain barrel for collecting rainwater; perhaps for washing little Plan Toys Eco Vehicles or watering the garden! A very nice set of recycling bins are included as well.
The new Plan Toys Green Dollhouse is available unfurnished (you can buy a furniture set separately), or you can splurge and get the Green Dollhouse with furniture which is move-in-ready with a great set of eco-furniture pieces. The Green Dollhouse, like all Plan Toys, starts with natural rubberwood recycled from rubber trees no longer able to produce latex. There’s no fertilizer added to the rubberwood, so that the wood stays chemical free. Plan Toys are assembled with a proprietary non-formaldehyde glue and contains no formaldehyde emission (E-Zero). The dollhouse is colored with non-toxic, water based dyes free from lead and mercury. All Plan Toys are packaged in recycled and recyclable materials and packaging is printed with soy and water based inks. Lastly, Plan Toys utilizes sustainable energy methods (solar cell and biomass) to power the machinery that kiln-dries their wood and paint.
