Beyond the Millennium Falcon, other letter-inspired spacecrafts joined the X-wing including the A-wing and the B-wing — so Anderson decided to make his own spacey LEGO ships from A to Z. The result is nothing less than astronomical awesomeness! You can see details of the spaceships including how mini figs get to go along for a ride on Anderson’s Flickr page. Beyond the pure eye candy value of Anderson’s LEGO spaceship alphabet, we think his collection of spacecrafts are a wonderful way to introduce your child to the ABCs.

XMark Anderson of online cartoon site Andertoons created an alphabet of LEGO spaceships. It took him nearly two years to create the spectacle of letters, and now Anderson has just posted his 26 ABC-shaped LEGO spaceships for all to marvel over on Flickr. The stay-at-home dad and full time cartoonist channeled his inner child for this project. He grew up in the Star Wars era and was a big fan of the X-wing -- and it's letter-inspired shape.
