What is Kangovou?
Kangovou was launched in 2012 by two mom entrepreneurs looking to make mealtime healthier and safer for their kids (and kids everywhere). The two mamas had recognized that there was a void in the stainless steel product offerings currently on the market and thus the Kangovou mission became clear: to create a versatile kid’s dishware set which was made of high quality food-grade stainless steel, free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead and melamine. Better yet, these two moms realized that offering stainless steel dishes in a complete set would be very helpful to parents because of course, one-stop shopping is easier than hunting down a dozen different stainless steel pieces.
Kangovou style and innovation
Kangovou dishes are made of high quality food-grade, Type 304, 18/8 stainless steel and each piece comes with a pretty removable outer jacket and lid allowing you to change the look of the dish. Plus, the outer jackets act as an insulator against heat and cold. Kangovou jackets and lids aren’t stainless steel, but they are made from plastic that is free of bisphenol-A, polyvinyl chloride and the chemical phthalate.
You can buy one large Kangovou set that comes complete with two food-grade stainless steel plates, two food-grade stainless steel bowls, and a food-grade stainless steel drinking cup. This is a big enough set to get you well on your way to a kitchen full of stainless steel and a great set for kids. Pieces in the collection that can be bought separately include cereal bowls, snack bowls, cups, plates, sippy cups, trays, and more!
On-the-go stainless steel ease
Bento boxes for school lunches or park picnics are just part of what makes Kangovou easy on parents. Many of their stainless steel containers also come with lids, so meals can be transferred right to the fridge as leftovers or taken on-the-go wherever you please.
The Kangovou collection of outer shells really dress up the stainless steel dishes with pretty, but not too cute sorbet-minded colors such as lemon zest, frosted blueberry, peaches and cream, iced mint and more. You can also use all the dishes alone, without the colored shells if you’re going for a stainless steel look.
Though eco-friendly, safe and ethically made, these are dishes every green parent can afford, which we love! From $13 for a cereal bowl to $20 for a bento box to $17 for a sippy cup, these dishes are well below what you’d normally pay for stainless steel. Plus, if you buy an entire set, it’s an awesome deal at just $69.99. Visit Kangovou to see their entire collection!
