Just thinking about the grime and guck that gets trapped inside bath toys is enough to make us shudder, but bath toys play such an integral part in keeping bath time fun and playful. Let the sudsing and splashing continue: Hevea has just launched 100% natural rubber bath toys (from the Hevea Brasiliensi tree hence the name) in a set of three cute and squishy animals: a duck, a frog, and a fish. Our favorite part of these BPA-,PVC-and phthalate-free toys is that they are cast in one piece-which means no holes or crevices, so no worries. The Hevea brand (previously known for their pacifiers and teethers) takes sustainability seriously by replenishing the rubber trees they use in manufacturing, donating a portion of their proceeds to research and development of sustainable business practices, and purchasing carbon offsets for their shipping and transportation costs. The packaging is made from recycled paper and printed with soy ink.
