HOW TO: Make homemade sunburn soother to heal & repair your skin

1. Collect your ingredients and supplies.

  • 4oz (½ cup) filtered water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2oz (¼ cup) aloe vera gel
  • 2 Tbsp alcohol-free witch hazel
  • 1 tsp Vitamin E oil
  • Glass measuring cup or jar
  • Whisk
  • Spray bottle

2. Brew some strong tea.

Strong black tea is your secret weapon against the sun’s sting. Boil the filtered water and pour over tea bags. Allow to steep for 20 minutes in a glass measuring cup or jar. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature before moving on to the next step.
