Last night, I was eager to try to make a vegan snickerdoodle cookie. Snickerdoodles have always been one of my favorites, and to make a healthier version was on my must-do list. This recipe is great to make with children because they will especially enjoy rolling the cookie balls in sugar and cinnamon and licking their fingers too. Gather your Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup organic applesauce
- 3/4 cup organic sugar
- 1/4 cup organic almond milk
- 1 teaspoon organic vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup organic whole-wheat flour
- 1/4 cup organic cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon organic baking powder
- 1/4 cup organic sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon organic cinnamon
Step 2: Mix it!
Use a hand or stand up mixer to mix the organic applesauce and organic sugar together.
Step 3: Add it!
Add the organic almond milk and organic vanilla to the applesauce/sugar mixture and mix well until well combined.
Step 4: Sift It!
Sift the organic flour, organic cornstarch and organic baking powder together and then add to the wet ingredients and mix again until well combined.
