Allison Zahorik’s son Max wanted to be Pterri the Pterodactyl from Pee-Wee’s Playhouse for Halloween. So the mom dyed an old sweatsuit she had in the house and used Polar fleece to created the head, wings, and tail. For the feet she cut open a pair of rubber gloves and stuffed them! Max was comfortable, the costume was cheap, and no one else was Pterri — that’s Halloween success!
