This costume was dreamed up and named ‘Samurai Suzume Bachi’ by Callie Williams’ son. The mask is made from a lamp shade, cereal boxes and paper clay, the body armor and shin guards are made from Formica laminate, the shoulder plates are made from cereal boxes, the kilt is fabric and foam, and the “maille” is a thrifted sweater. Suzume bachi is Japanese for “sparrow bee.”

Even more awesome that this creative kid came up with this costume design himself.
