GIDDYUP ROCKING STOOL made from recycled saddle!

by , 06/07/08

Giddyup rocking stool made from a recycled saddle, recycled leather, recycled saddle rocking horse, eco rocking horse, green rocking chair, Tim Wigmore, Unless Designs

If you have a little wrangler running around the house, hook yourself a Giddyup Rocking Stool and let the kids find out what a real saddle feels like. Designer Tim Wigmore created these rockers with reclaimed leather saddles, oiling them back to health and attaching a base of sustainably grown hoop pine timber.

The Giddyup Rocking Stool captures a DIY aesthetic but keeps the look sharp, with naturally finished wood and the rustic aged quality of old leather. Besides offering kids a fun ride and a chance to pretend they’re equestrians, the rocker can inspire lots of stories about who might once have ridden in the very saddle the kids now call their own.
