Unlike its petroleum-based brethren, PLA, corn-based bioplastic is made from renewable resources, and it doesn’t contain toxic additives like bisphenol-A and phthalates. Yet, it remains just as near-indestructible as regular plastic—perfect for a toddler who’s still mastering the mechanics of self-feeding.

We also love Dandelion’s 100% recycled cardboard packaging, which is not only printed with vegetable-based inks, but is also completely free of plastic tabs and wire twist ties. Plates, bowls, and sippy cups are sold in packs of two, while the utensil pack comes with four forks and spoons.
