Cute in a way that only those who love modular design will appreciate, the Frii tri-color recycled plastic bike is an injection molded, snap-together marvel that is light weight yet durable. Dror Peleg, the mastermind behind the bike’s concept design, intends it to be used for “quick trips through the city streets” and hopes that interested governments will see it as a way to usefully recycle landfill-destined plastics. Aura is a unique set of wearable devices for expecting couples – a dress for an expecting mother and a bracelet for her partner. Communication between the dress and the bracelet allow mother, baby and papa-to-be connect in an unusual, but meaningful way. Designer Marco Righetto notes that while Aura may work for any expecting couple from the 25th week of pregnancy, the project was primarily based on the needs, desires and experiences of heterosexual couples.

Thanks to Japanese scientists,  a new “pregnancy suit” simulates kicks and movements of the fetus in utero, allowing dads-to-be to experience pregnancy on a new level.
