Boy builds amazingly detailed LEGO Titanic using 30,000 bricks!

Imagine spending the equivalent of 16 entire days building a giant model Titanic out of 30,000 LEGOs. That’s exactly what Norwegian Lasse Ankersø did, and he has the time lapse video to prove it! The model Titanic’s size is boast-worthy, but we’re even more in awe of all the teeny, tiny details, from the life boats to the crow’s nest to the smokestacks.

The impressive structure stands almost 2 1/2 feet tall and is almost 10 feet long. The model Titanic’s size is boast-worthy, but we’re even more in awe of all the teeny, tiny details, from the life boats to the crow’s nest to the smokestacks. Add Ankerso’s LEGO Titanic to your kid’s building bucket list, along with Hogwarts and a 30-foot tall Christmas Tree.  A Titanic set may be available for purchase from LEGO in the near future, saving you and your child a few hours or days sifting through your LEGO box in search of the right pieces.
