*RECOMMENDED: Tovolo Popsicle Molds
Tovolo Groovy Ice Pop Molds, Star Pop Molds and Rocket Pop Molds are three of the best molds on the market in my opinion. Not only do popsicles freeze well in these molds, but they slide out easily once frozen, and the sizes are perfect for adults and older kids. Plus, these molds last FOREVER. I’ve had all three sets shown above for years and years and they’re in excellent shape. Read my full Tovolo ice pop mold review. Note, if you have a younger child, get the rocket molds, as they’re the smallest of these three. Important: If you start looking into Tovolo molds, you may see they sell twin pop molds. Avoid these like the plague – they’re horrid.
Frost Pop Maker
These sleek looking molds are more than beautiful, they come with a slim and elegant design that uses less freezer space. These look like they’d be especially great for breakfast pops.
Onyx 18/8 Stainless Steel Popsicle Mold
I’m not willing to spring almost $40 on popsicle molds, so I haven’t used these stainless steel molds, but if you want to avoid plastic and silicone, these may be a good bet. One downside is you have to use sticks, which is wasteful. Another con is that I’ve read some reviews of these that say steel shavings sometimes end up in the pops (yikes) so really do some research and read LOTS of reviews before you buy.
Zoku Slow Pops: Classic
Zoku is mainly known for their ice pop makers, but recently introduced a line of “Slow” as in old-school, popsicle molds. These modern looking molds are designed for easy cleaning and feature individual molds that pop up from the base when you pull up the pop stick.
Zoku Slow Pops: Mini Pop Molds
Another mold in the Zoku Slow Pops line, these mini molds are hyper cute, perfect for when you have lots of tots in your house at once and aren’t so big that they’ll spoil appetites.
