Price developed the Baby’s Rocking Cradle concept after researching people’s attachment to their possessions and objects that trigger memories in our lives. Some parents find it tough to give up sentimental baby furniture like cradles, even though they’re only useful for a short time. We admit the transformation isn’t a simple procedure – at this point the prototype, which is made from ash, has to be sawn in half to be split into the two rocking chairs – but the convertible cradle concept certainly brings new life to an otherwise short-lived baby product.

As a designer and a father, I would say this is one of the best products I have seen in a while, as all parents will know children grow fast and products become redundant, this not only addresses this problem but provides two useful attractive products.
