We want to see all of the most amazing and terror-ific DIY costumes that your little ghouls and goblins will be wearing with pride this Halloween. Creating your own one-of-a-kind costume is so much more fun and eco-conscious than buying that generic cheap PVC garb at your big box store. Once you fashion your wow-worthy costume, take a picture of your little one wearing said masterpiece and then enter it in the Inhabitots Green Halloween® Costume Contest for a chance to win over $200 in awesome prizes!
We’re hoping you can really send a shiver down our spine with your creativity, resourcefulness and inventiveness. We can’t wait to behold mom- and dad-made designs upcycled from salvaged items, comprised of household odds and ends, ingeniously sewn using outgrown clothes, or handmade with leftover fabrics in a labor of love. Not only will your kiddo get to have the coolest, most unique costume on the block, you’ll also have a chance to win some truly fabulous prizes including: a $100 gift certificate to Sarah’s Silks dress-up goodies, an adorable Hugo the Ghost plush toy and Wild Things crown from Oeuf, and a Chico Bags Halloween bag filled with Yummy Earth organic candy, the Spot it!
