Inhabitots Link Roundup of the Week

by Beth Shea, 01/22/10

handmade stuffed animals, elephant bookcase, green kids, eco kids, little alouette, wooden animals, eco-friendly blocks

We’re smitten with these adorable, handmade stuffed animals we spotted on mmmcrafts, created with love by an Etsy artist and mom — and she sells the PDF patterns to create your own!

We love our animal shaped book cases, and Bambino Goodies trumpets the upcoming spring/summer 2010 debut of this bright yellow elephant bookcase on Habitat –  we know there will be an ‘elephant in the room’ in our homes soon!

Little Alouette needs your help naming the bear and the fox in their new Woodland Animals collection! Two winners will receive brand new Woodland Sets. Click here to enter!

Prudent Baby recycles old jeans into adorable denim baby shoes — and gives us the DIY on how to do it ourselves.

Ohdeedoh opens up the discussion on vegetarian party food for kids! With all of the great suggestions offered by readers, throwing a vegetarian bash would be easy, healthy and fun!

Droolicious features what they dub the ‘most luxurious eco-blocks ever.’
