pumpkin! (because he had his first pumpkin meal yesterday…)

It is a toss up between ‘Go’ (she has been spending to much time with her dad- watching football) and ‘No’ (her little 2 year old independence shining through!)

He is very proud that he can spell his name – LIAM.

my little guy is just learning how to talk, so dada is his favorite for now!

My little Damien does not talk yet. His only word for everything (and his name?) is “dada”.

Our 2-year-old, Sofia, has suddenly become obsessed with the word ‘closed’. Replacing ‘hot’ as her new favorite, she uses it as often as possible, and with the new word has come a new interest in either opening anything that is already closed – doors, cabinets, zippers, etc., or vice versa…Also, when she says it, it sounds a little more like ‘cyoised’, so we’re hoping some alphabet blocks might help her get the sounds straight

Not sure what they’d want to spell. Our twins are still cooking! Perhaps their names… once we figure that out.

My preschooler’s favorite word is “Mommy,” but it needs to be said more like “Mooooooommmmmmmmyyyyyyyy!” Heehee! My baby doesn’t talk yet, but she certainly loves to eat so I am thinking her favorite word is “Boobs!”

My cousin’s baby can’t spell yet, but once he starts, this would help him work his way toward Scrabble

He would no doubt spell “WAFFLE”, his favorite way to start the day!

My 18 month old loves to eat so if he could spell I think he would spell “SNACKS”. He is so cute when he wakes up from his afternoon nap the first word out of his mouth is…”SNACKS”.

My toddler’’s favorite word of the moment (beyond “no”) is “more” so we’d probably spell that and a lot “more”!

MUM or CHEESE would be his favorite words and he’d love to spell them with blocks. Of course, if the set comes with lots of “H” blocks he’d probably prefer to spell his favorite sound to yell while running everywhere…AHHHHHHHHH

I just can’t wait for my 7 week old to say mommy, but I am sure her favorite work will be chocolate…if she takes after her father.

Our little one is to young to say any word (let alone spell it) so we would spell love for him

My granddaughter Cordelia, only 12 months, would need help spelling. I would help her spell DOG or CAT since she loves my pets.

My little girl would definitely be spelling out “Opie” which is our dog’s name, she’s in love with him!

My granddaughter would love to spell out her new favorite word which is Auntie.

“Up”! The only word my toddler seems to be saying anymore! Not only does she want to be picked “up”, but the only thing she will watch on the television is Disney Pixar’s “Up”… Sadly it only takes two blocks to spell out, which is a crying shame since the blocks are so beautiful!!

Moon is the word that was first for our son.

if my daughter picked one word to spell i think it would be mom.

My son would spell “George.” He loves C. George!

I subscribe, and my daughter’s only word so far is mama, so I guess that would have to be it.

Favorite color and word is Green!

Our baby is due any day now, so I’m not sure what she would spell. Maybe “Heidi” (he name) or “LeRoy” or “Hank” (our dogs) or perhaps “Ralphie” or “Katie-May” (our cats) or any of a number of the names for animals in our animal rescue (http://www.gatewayanimals.org“). She will most definitely grow up to be an animal lover and sustainable living expert.

Or perhaps her inclination would be towards our organic garden and indoor planting. Then maybe she’ll spell “dirt” or “pesticides suck” or “Hell ya, tomatoes” (one of my favorite phrases).

The possibilities are endless and all awaiting her birth.

Rowyn would probably spell love! This is because that is how Mommy and Daddy say “I Love You”. We say L-O-V-E before bed and any time we leave each other so I bet LOVE is the first word that she spells

Will would probably want to spell “Wes” – his new baby brother!

My son would spell Aston Martin, his favorite car. My daughter, who is still at university, would spell, Send more money. But if I won the Alphabet blocks they would be wrapped in cotton wool until I could teach their first born to spell GRANDAD.

Based on desire: “Up!”

Alexander’s favorite word is “baby” and he will say it when he sees it. Those blocks would greatly help our spelling activites! (^_^)

My grandson would spell the word “Thank You” because I try to teach them to be gracious & thankful for everything.

IM sure it would be Goopie, because thats what she calls her little stuffed horse.

Brooklyn would learn to spell “puppy”, she loves her puppy.

My daughter would love to play with it. She just started asking all the words around her. We can play together and creat new words. Thinking about it just makes me happy.

My Aidan is still learning to talk, I bet he would love to spell eat, as next to running and playing that is his favorite thing to do and say! He turns two on February 11th, so we would definitely teach him to spell out Thank You if we won! Thank you for throwing a fun contest!

note: he doesn’t call me mom … he calls me Teta!
so I guess that’s what I am for him… well…
he is 17 month old:)
