The FYS (Finish Your Self) Junior Chair by David Graas is part puzzle, part functional chair. This piece was nominated for a best packaging award via the Dutch Design Awards 2007 — which is no surprise since the chair’s puzzle-like pieces are largely derived from the chair’s packaging. The packaging itself is made of 100% recyclable corrugated cardboard. With a little help from mom and dad, kids can delight in assembling their own eco-friendly seating.
