HAPPY EASTER!
Today is Easter and we have bunnies on the brain! Along with eggs, the rabbit is an ancient fertility symbol that has obvious associations with new life and the beginning of spring. (Did you realize the words ‘Easter’, ‘Estrus’ and ‘Estrogen’ all have the same root and come from an old Germanic goddess named Eostre?) In addition to all this symbolic good stuff, bunnies are just plain cute, and Easter is a wonderful celebration of the dawning of spring.
