Ohdeedoh reminds us that good things often come in small packages, like the miniature garden above! Kids will delight in this tiny, green utopia, bursting with a variety of plants. Go read more about this charming creation designed by John Millman.

Droolicious plays on our penchant for owls with their post on Odelia Lavie’s handmade animal plush dolls. Each doll is made from textile scraps and old clothing, and stuffed with raw wool purchased from small scale farmers.

This is one of the coolest DIY projects we’ve seen: Party Perfect’s ‘first words’ book. We love the ingenious simplicity behind this heartfelt project, and the fact that you don’t need to be Martha Stewart to put one of these brilliant books, (or a variation of one) together for your baby.

Treehugger shows their affection for Seven Smooches, a children’s apparel line made from repurposed pillowcases and vintage feed sacks amongst other materials. Their sweet, one-of-a-kind, Daddy’s Little Girl skirt is made from reclaimed flour sacks and cotton oxford shirts.
