Mother’s Day Monster Art Contest from Celebrate Green

Your creativity could earn you some fabulous eco-gifts for Mother’s Day! Metal for Monsters has teamed up with the authors of Celebrate Green! for a very creative celebration of Mother’s Day. One lucky artist will win a custom-designed Metal for Monsters pendant and a copy of the book, Celebrate Green! But don’t despair if you’re not artistic, because one voter, chosen at random, will win the same prize!
Monsters for Metal is a jewelry line from Blend Creations. These pendants are made out of stainless steel, which is highly recyclable. They offer both limited edition (only 100 of each design) and customizable “Make Your Own” versions of their pendants. The designs are fun and fantastical illustrated creatures.
For this contest, designs should be creatures that signify motherhood, or illustrate the mother-child bond. Entries will be accepted from March 1st through March 17, 2009, and voting will take place between March 18th and April 7th at Metal for Monsters and Celebrate Green.
