the national children's study

The National Children’s Study
is set to launch on January 13th!

“The National Children’s Study will examine the effects of environmental influences on the health and development of 100,000 children across the United States, following them from before birth until age 21. The goal of the Study is to improve the health and well-being of children.”

For an overview of the study, including the issues and factors that will be taken into account, click here.

We’re very enthused about this endeavor, as it is our ongoing mission at Inhabitots to highlight products and designs which promote the health and well-being of children, families and the earth. We hope the preliminary findings of the study, expected to be available in 2011 will afford us all a greater understanding of how to care for future generations in light of the increasingly complex environmental factors we face.
